**Job Description:**

- Work in a Progressive Care Unit (CVPC) focused on cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, including open-heart and thoracic lung surgeries.
- Engage with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from complex surgeries and conditions such as heart failure, DKA, and sepsis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a unit with 40 cardiac surgery stepdown beds and approximately 100 staff members.
- Utilize equipment such as Baxter IV pumps and CADD epidural pumps.
- Administer various medical procedures, including epidural and chest tube management, tube feedings, and cardiac drip management.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, with flexibility to float to other units with similar or adjusted ratios.
- Benefit from a supportive team environment that values flexibility and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
- Adhere to a dress code of all navy, white tops/navy bottoms, or all white.
- Work a minimum of 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday day/night) per 6-week schedule, with no on-call requirements.
