**Must-Have:** Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems

**Job Description:**

- Care for adult to geriatric patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Manage telemetry and PCU unit patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT, and vascular issues
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a unit with 36 rooms and an average daily census of 35
- Wear navy blue scrubs as part of the professional dress code
- Availability for every other weekend and floating requirements
- Compliance with holiday work expectations: If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work two.
- Complete 13 hours of orientation
- Commitment to full compliance for on-time start, with the requirement to submit core documents and complete/schedule labs promptly
