**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year; first-time travelers accepted

**License:** GA or Compact license required

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIH

**Must-Have:**
- Open to working every other weekend
- Willingness to float within the facility
- Availability to work major holidays as required

**Job Description:**
- Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics
- Manage a mixed unit with Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
- Handle intermediate patients, including neuro, respiratory, and cardiac care
- Titrate cardiac drips and perform telemetry monitoring
- Assignments may vary between all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a mix, depending on patient acuity and staffing
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-5
- Proficiency with unit systems such as Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
- Adhere to scrub color requirements (Navy Blue)
