**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Surgical Stepdown

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, every other holiday

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** 2+ years of recent acute care experience

**License:** Registered Nurse License

**Certifications:** Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

**Must-Have:**
- Surgical stepdown experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)/Stepdown experience
- Experience with automatic medication dispensing
- More than one previous travel assignment
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Completion of Telemetry test and Critical Care Medication test on day 1

**Job Description:**
- Provide care to post-operative patients requiring intermediate care
- Work on a unit that includes cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and transplant patients
- Manage an average patient ratio of 1:3, 1:4, or 1:4-5 if MedSurg patients
- Benefits from having tertiary facility experience
