**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers

**License:** Accepts pending licenses, but they must be active by the start date

**Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS

**Must-Have:**
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with multi-system organ failure
- Proficiency in IV insulin protocols and starting IVs
- Skills in accessing ports and managing central and PICC lines
- Experience in blood product administration
- Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Assist with BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula
- Interpretation of ABGs and ventilator management
- Infection prevention and isolation precautions
- Phlebotomy and management of surgical wounds with drains/Wound Vac

**Job Description:**

- Target nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5
- Floating required to manage medical-surgical/telemetry patients as needed
- Work every other weekend
- Manage patients with diagnoses such as Sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, COVID, ETOH withdrawal, pneumonia
- Participate in special procedures like Diltiazem gtt titration, Insulin gtt titration, Amiodarone, Precedex gtt
- Use unit systems: Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR
- Wear navy blue scrubs
- Comply with facility's smoke-free policy
- Complete a fit test before being onsite
- Option for complementary reduced-rate housing nearby, including amenities such as Wi-Fi, cable, and linens

Note: Hospital provides no Cerner training; experience with Cerner is preferred but not required.
