**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Step Down

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night, 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Must accept pending licenses for submittal, but must be active by start

**Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS

**Must-Have:**
- Willingness to float as needed
- Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience in multi-system organ failure care and IV insulin protocols

**Job Description:**
- Manage central line and PICC line care; capable of starting IVs
- Administer blood products
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips; manage continuous IV sedation
- Assist with BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula management
- Interpret ABGs and manage ventilators
- Enforce infection prevention, isolation precautions, and PPE use
- Perform phlebotomy and manage surgical wounds with drains or wound vacs
- Capable of handling patient diagnoses such as sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, and more
- Experience in Diltiazem gtt titration, insulin gtt titration, Amidarone, and Precedex gtt

This role requires floating to take medical/surgical and telemetry patients as needed. Navy blue scrubs are required. Familiarity with systems such as Omnicell, Cerner, and SBAR is advantageous but not required, as Cerner training is not provided. Note that the facility is smoke-free.
