Shift: Day - 3x12 hours - 7am to 7pm, including weekends and holiday rotations as needed

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required

License: Active RN license

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required

Must-Have: Experience with Epic systems and full COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption for medical/religious reasons)

Job Description:
- Work in a 30-bed Intermediate Care Unit focusing on high-acuity patients, with a strong emphasis on cardiac care
- Provide care for post-interventional patients, including angioplasty and cardiac stenting
- Manage care for patients undergoing electrophysiological procedures, such as ablations and pacemaker installations
- Assist patients experiencing respiratory failure through interventions like CPAP and BiPAP
- Support patients with congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias, including administration of titratable drips
- Care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), and overdoses
- Float to other units as needed and care for COVID-19 patients
- The facility is nicotine-free and requires flu vaccination from September to April
- Ensure compliance with the facility's hiring policies, including clearance of any license suspensions
