**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** 12-Hour Nights, Every Other Weekend

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years

**License:** Required for submission

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:** EKG monitoring skills

**Job Description:**

- Auto Offer based on prescreen recommendation.
- Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance; only 2 attempts allowed.
- Pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation.
- Unit specialization in Cardiopulmonary Telemetry & Neuro.
- Required minimum of 2 years of experience in CHF Telemetry.
- 30-bed unit with RN-to-patient ratios of 1:3-4.
- RNs must be able to titrate drips, including cardiac and heparin.
- No patient assignment for Charge Nurse; a manager is also available.
- Patient Care Techs available with a ratio of 1 per every 15 patients.
- Use of Ventilatory Equipment like Nasal Cannula, BiPAP/CPAP for obstructive sleep apnea.
- Centralized telemetry; RNs must interpret EKGs.
- Self-scheduling for 12-hour shifts from 7-7.
- Requirement to work two major and two minor holidays, depending on contract.
- Possible floating to any telemetry floor; may float to a sister facility.
- Dress code is navy scrubs.
- Two days of unit/department specific orientation.
- Common patient diagnoses include CHF, general telemetry, fluid overload, SOB, arrhythmias, and ETOH.
- Hospital may cancel shifts up to three times per contract.
- Utilizes Cerner charting system.
- Trauma Level 1 Care Setting in an acute division.
