**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required; must have Cardiac PCU experience
**License:** Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state of practice, or meet the licensure requirements in your home state if from a National License Compact state
**Certifications:** BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
**Must-Have:** Cardiac Experience
**Job Description:**
- Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must speak English in good, understandable terms.
- Requires intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch.
- Must possess finger dexterity, critical thinking, and the ability to concentrate.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

- Only one holiday time off granted for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, or New Year's Eve

**Education:**
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
**Language Proficiency:**
- English (Speak, Read, Write)
