**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit (SDU)

**Job Specialty:** Adult Services - Step Down Unit (SDU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 12hrs 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:**
- Minimum 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Experience in Cardiac Rhythm Recognition

**License:**
- Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

**Must-Have:**
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program

**Job Description:**

- Deliver adult care with a focus on patients in the Step Down Unit.
- Monitor and assess cardiac rhythms and vital signs to ensure patient safety and deliver appropriate care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and condition changes.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care at all times.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
