**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Step Down

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks (Up to 24 weeks contract possible)

**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with rotating 3x12's - 7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am (typically 2 weeks days followed by 2 weeks nights)

**Guaranteed Hours:**

**Experience:** Minimum of 18 months recent Cardiac Step Down experience required. Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred but not necessary. Must have at least 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.

**License:** Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license.

**Certifications:** BLS & ACLS, NIH required.

**Must-Have:**
- Minimum of 18 months recent Cardiac Step Down experience.
- Permanent experience in specialty before travel.
- Valid Ohio or compact state license.
- Active BLS & ACLS, NIH certifications.
- Must work at least every other holiday.

**Job Description:**

- Travel Registered Nurse position in Step Down unit.
- Participate in a float pool, adapting to various assignments.
- Rotate between day and night shifts, as scheduled.
- Complete orientation with ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments.
- PBDS Assessment waived for this role.
- Background and fingerprinting procedures to be completed promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures to maintain high standards of nursing care.
