**Job Description:**

- Provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and their families using the nursing process.
- Assist patients to achieve, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
- Deliver effective relationship-based nursing care by implementing the nursing process.
- Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery to ensure safe practices and positive care outcomes.
- Exhibit clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
- Contribute to the development of self and the professional practice of nursing.
- Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
- Fulfill RN duties as assigned.
- Maintain a nurse/patient ratio of 1:5/1:6.
- Float between inpatient areas as needed, including step-down units and emergency departments for the care of boarded patients.
