**Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg experience required

**License:** Valid compact or state license

**Certifications:** BCLS and ACLS required

**Must-Have:** Strong skills in IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation; EPIC experience

**Job Description:**

- Provide high-quality care for patients in a lower acuity cardiac unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Must be willing to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.
- Work a rotating shift schedule including weekdays, some weekends, and rotating holidays.
- Cardiac experience preferred with a patient ratio of 1:3-4.
- Orientation includes 24 non-billable hours.
- Complete required modules during orientation, averaging 17 hours depending on specialty.
- Compliance with fingerprinting process is required prior to start date.
- Flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only.
