**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Days, 12 hours

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in intermediate/progressive care

**License:** Oregon RN license (must be willing to obtain if not currently held)

**Certifications:** ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) (must be willing to obtain if not currently held)

**Must-Have:**
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years
- Experience in PCU/IMCU/Telemetry/Stepdown

**Job Description:**
- Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Teach patients and significant others regarding care plans and health management.
- Document patient care in the medical record promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care of the patient.
- Ability to float to MCU/PSU/APU as needed.
- Willingness to consider a direct hire position following the travel assignment.

(Note: Weekend schedule to be determined by facility)
