**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Shift:** Days (0700-1930) every other weekend

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year RN experience; Six months in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or a related area required

**License:** Current unencumbered RN license required

**Certifications:** Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:** High school diploma or equivalent; PCU and basic EKG experience preferred

**Job Description:**

- Provide direct care or influence care for acutely ill patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Manage patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability.
- Utilize advanced knowledge and experience in administering care and performing assessments.
- Conduct advanced monitoring and develop interventions to support patient health.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination.
- Required to work on holidays as part of the coverage strategy.
