**Job Duration:** 8 Weeks

**Shift:** Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 48 hours per week

**Experience:** 1.5 years required; some level 1 or 2 preferred; travel experience preferred

**License:** Any state RN license accepted; compact license accepted

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIH

**Must-Have:**
- Vent experience
- Experience with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio in Step-Down or PCU
- EPIC experience
- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before the assignment
- IV start skills preferred

**Job Description:**
- Work in an intermediate care neuroscience unit providing skilled care to a diverse patient population, including cerebrovascular accident (CVA), transient ischemic attack (TIA), seizures, and neurological conditions.
- Participate in a high-risk respiratory unit, returning to a neuro-intermediate care focus as conditions permit.
- Function in team nursing or primary nursing, partnering with LPNs and PCTs to enhance patient care workload.
- Be flexible to float between facilities and support various units, including high-risk respiratory/COVID units.
- Available to work every other weekend and holidays, including Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
- Participate in floating to main, south, and north facilities as needed, maintaining consistency in patient care.
- Complete up to 24 hours of modules during orientation and annually, with self-reported hours.
- Wear Navy Blue Scrubs while on duty.
