**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Neuroscience

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** To be discussed during the interview

**Experience:** Minimum 1.5 years in SD or PCU preferred; Travel experience preferred

**License:** Any state RN license is acceptable, with the ability to obtain a temporary license if needed

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIH required

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Ventilator experience
- Pass an online EKG telemetry competency assessment
- EPIC experience required

**Job Description:**

- Provide professional, skilled nursing care in a mixed-acuity neuroscience unit
- Care for a diverse patient population, including those with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), transient ischemic attacks (TIA), seizures, and neurological conditions
- Participate in team nursing, working collaboratively with LPNs and PCTs to optimize patient care
- Adapt to both team nursing and primary nursing roles based on unit needs
- Float to various units within the healthcare facility as needed, including high-risk respiratory units or neuro ICUs
- Administer and monitor heated high flow and BiPAP treatments
- Comply with requirements for fitting N95 masks, or use PAPR if needed
- Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays
- Managers will review applications with specific ratio experience documented in the work history section
- Wear navy blue scrubs as part of the uniform

**Note:** Requests for time off (RTO) should be submitted with initial application. RTO approval will be at the manager's discretion. Module hours estimated between 18-24, completed within orientation.
