**Experience:** Minimum of 1.5 years of Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit experience; Travel experience preferred; ICU experience not applicable; Experience with a 1:5 patient ratio

**License:** Any state RN license is acceptable; Temporary license can be applied for upon offer

**Certifications:** BLS and NIH required, ACLS preferred

**Must-Have:**
- EPIC experience
- Ability to pass an online EKG telemetry competency assessment
- Skill in reading and interpreting strips
- IV Start proficiency

**Job Description:**
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 masks unless PAPR is offered/needed
- Potential to float among specialty clusters and support the nursing care team as needed
- Availability to work every other weekend and on holidays
- Cancelling up to 3 shifts due to low census is possible per contract duration
- Advanced Care Unit manages patients including those with heart failure, chest pain rule out, NSTEMI, post-procedure conditions, COPD exacerbation, drug/ETOH overdose, and withdrawal
- Competence required to manage IV drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, etc.
- Daily average census: 31 patients
- Nurses are required to wear navy blue scrubs

- Request time off at initial submission; approval is at the manager's discretion
- Up to 24 hours of modules are billable during orientation, with an average of 18-24 hours; they are self-reported to the manager
