Job Specialty: Intermediate Care (IMC) - Thoracic Vascular Care

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week, contract approved

Experience: Minimum 1 year

License: WA license or Compact RN license required

Certifications: ACLS, BCLS

Must-Have:

- Willingness to float between like units based on need
- Ability to work 3 of the 5 major holidays
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment

Job Description:

- Care for patients recovering from thoracic and vascular procedures.
- Treat diagnoses including Lobectomy, Pneumectomy, Esophagectomy, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Endovascular Graphs.
- Work with patients needing TAVR, Tracheostomy, BiPap, HFNC, Covid care, and multi-organ Sepsis management.
- Participate in a fast-paced environment requiring critical thinking and teamwork.
- Collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
- Engage with fantastic preceptors and charge nurses to support new caregivers.
- Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually.
