**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with Cerner
- Ability to interpret telemetry
- Ventilator proficiency
- IV insertion skills
- Familiarity with pacemakers (both epicardial and permanent)
- Experience with vasoactive medications, chest tubes, central lines, and drains

**Job Description:**
- Work in a 30-bed step-down unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
- Care for adults and geriatric patients
- Handle top diagnoses/procedures such as ARDS, Sepsis, Neurosurgery, Stroke, Cardiac Surgery, Respiratory Failure, Multi-Organ Failure, MI, CHF, and Diabetes
- Perform special procedures including chest tube insertion, central line management, and drain care
- Titrate vasoactive drips: Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Cardine, Amiodarone
- Required to work every other weekend
- Float within skillset as needed
