**Job Description:**

- Provide care in an Intermediate Telemetry/Cardiac Care Unit.
- Handle patients with cardiac or other medical diagnoses requiring intermediate care.
- Administer and monitor medications such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Milrinone, Insulin, Heparin, and Nitro.
- Perform central line draws, EKGs, and IV starts.
- Assist in post-procedure care for CABG, cardiac catheterization, and others.
- Utilize equipment including telemetry, IV pumps, SCDs, high-flow nasal cannula ventilators, and occasional Bi-Pap.
- Manage a patient load with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1.
- Rotate shifts, working every other weekend and required holidays.
- Wear scrubs (any color/print) and closed-toed shoes.
- Floating within hospital units as needed.
