Job Description:
- Primarily responsible for Emergency Department (ED) Holding.
- Requires experience in Stepdown and Medical-Surgical units due to potential floating.
- Patient ratio typically 1:6/7.
- First-time travelers not accepted.
- On-call duties as needed.
- Weekend work required as needed, with potential consideration for weekend block scheduling.
- Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered.
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included in the submission packet; no exceptions for the holiday period from 12/22-12/27.
- Requires flexibility to work during major holidays if they fall during the assignment period.
- Travel experience is required; Cerner experience is preferred.
- Oncology experience is not required unless specified.
- RNs may be floated between similar units and campuses within 20 miles, although floating is rare unless stated.
- Orientation provided with 16 hours commitment.
