**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** Night Shift, 5x8-hour shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
**License:** Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
**Must-Have:**
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Proficiency in English: Read, Write, Speak
**Job Description:**
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards defined by the state Board of Nursing.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Evaluate health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
- Perform health teaching and health counseling.
- Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching.
- Execute delegated medical functions.
- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment.
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Use resources as needed.
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abide by service behavior standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business needs.
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
**Preferred Education:** Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
**Preferred Certifications:** Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
