**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Intermediate Care Unit (Night Shift)

**Job Duration:** 11 weeks

**Shift:** Night - 3x12 - 7 PM - 7 AM, 36 Hours per week

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 Hours per week

**Experience:** Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

**License:** Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.

**Certifications:**
- BLS - American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Preferred: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

**Must-Have:**
- ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- English proficiency (Speak, Read, Write)

**Job Description:**

- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Evaluate health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data
- Perform health teaching and health counseling
- Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation with, delegation to, supervision of, or teaching of others
- Execute delegated medical functions
- Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Use resources as needed
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and abide by service behavior standards
- May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Performs other duties as assigned
