**Must-Have:**
- Experience in step-down level patient care
- Proficiency in charting and interventions for high reliability care
- Willingness to support team efforts for continuous improvement

**Job Description:**

- Participate in orientation sessions held twice monthly
- Join a diverse facility equipped with a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss program, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU
- Work in an environment with 32-bed Emergency Department, 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation, and a 15-bed surgical suite
- Contribute to a 12-bed Intermediate Medical Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1
- Utilize various medical equipment such as bipap, chest tubes, high flow O2, and trachs
- Employ Cerner electronic health record system
- Float to other inpatient units as needed, prior to core staff
- Willingness to preceptor and mentor other staff
- Strong capability to identify early signs of changing patient conditions
- Manage a patient demographic primarily composed of adults with complex diagnoses such as sepsis and severe chronic pulmonary issues
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork, a problem-solving attitude, and maintain composure in difficult situations
- Preparedness to work most holidays during the contract period
