**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** 12-Hour Days

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years

**License:** Active RN license required

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- Experience with ARDS, DKA, fresh tracheostomy, laryngectomy
- Ability to titrate heparin drips
- EPIC experience
- Flexibility with scheduling and floating
- Previous experience in a busy hospital

**Job Description:**
- Responsible for patient care on a 17-bed stepdown unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3
- Manage non-titratable drips such as Cardene and Milrinone
- Troubleshoot RT equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow; standby RT available
- Sign own telemetry strips using Philips & GE monitors
- Participate in self-scheduling and block scheduling
- Required to work every other weekend; 6 weekend shifts within 6 weeks
- Holiday work required
- Potential floating to accommodate unit volume and needs
- Dress code is navy blue scrubs
- Two-day orientation and shadow program provided
- Open to floating needed; more of a Progressive Care Unit, suitable for those with ICU skills
- Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma environment
- Hospital may cancel shifts up to three times per contract, either partially or fully

Please note that successful candidates typically have more than 3 years of experience, previous travel experience, and have worked in a highly demanding hospital setting.
