**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU) **Job Duration:** 14 Weeks **Shift:** 7PM - 7AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week **Experience:** 2+ Recent Years in PCU/Stepdown/Tele, Experience in Medication Drips **License:** Current Licensure by the State Board of Nursing **Certifications:** Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) **Must-Have:** Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing **Job Description:** - Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. - Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. - Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team. - Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure implementation of solutions. - Develop effective nursing care plans through clinical knowledge and analytical abilities. - Perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel. **Preferred Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
