Travel Nurse Rn - Pcu In Jamestown, Nd

**Shift:** 12-hour day/night rotation, including weekends

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a stepdown ICU or Intermediate Care Unit required; ICU experience preferred

**License:** Active ND or compact RN license required

**Certifications:** BLS and ACLS required

**Must-Have:**
- Knowledge of cardiac-related medications and rhythm analysis
- Previous care of BIPAP patients preferred but not required
- Flu Shot is required

**Job Description:**
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process
- Direct patient and family teaching
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
- Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
- Perform telemetry, dressing changes, manage vents/BIPAP, and start IVs
- Utilize equipment such as Epic for computerized charting, Omnicell for medication systems, and Liko and EZ lifts
- Operate Alaris IV pumps and Nova Statstrip blood glucose devices
- Participate in a one-week hospital and department orientation program
- Adhere to the dress code of black scrubs
- Work within a 23-bed Med/Surg/ICU environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1-3, depending on census and patient needs
