**Must-Have:**
- Cardiac Experience (not just ICU)
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Ability to float to Med/Surg or ER for CVCU/Med Surg holds
- Recent traveler experience is highly preferred

**Job Description:**
- Work in a 33-bed Step Down Unit with a Cardiovascular specialty.
- Responsible for a patient ratio of 1:4, providing care from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Care for a variety of patients including those with chest pain, STEMI, NSTEMI, post CABG, post-thoracotomy, post-peripheral vascular surgery/procedure, respiratory failure with BIPAP or Airvo, dysrhythmias, and blood pressure requiring IV intervention.
- Handle patients with congestive heart failure (CHF), sepsis, and post-Cardiac Cath Lab patients, including managing arterial sheaths.
- Note: Pressors or IV infusions are not titrated in this unit.
- Required to work 6 weekend shifts per a 6-week schedule period.
- Required documentation includes: Work History, Cardiac ICU Skills Checklist current to 1 year, and 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years.
