**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 14 weeks

**Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience required in specialty, excluding SICU unit. Experience with Level 1-2 trauma is necessary.

**License:** Compact or specific State License required at time of submission

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, Telemetry experience required

**Must-Have:**
- Trauma/general surgery post-op patient experience
- Experience with abdominal surgeries
- Strong skills with foley catheters, surgical drains, surgical oncology, wound vacs, ostomy, ports and PICCs, TPN, and lipids
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only

**Job Description:**

- Work in an acute progressive unit caring for heavy trauma and gastrointestinal post-operative patients.
- Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as required.
- Respond promptly to call policies with staged shifts for weekend coverage.
- Assist with patient recovery, ensuring smooth transition and continued care in the main PACU.
- Engage in orientation and annual module training specific to the specialty.
- Understand and comply with the rehire eligibility process and the background/licensure requirements as specified.
