**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in specialty required. Level 1 trauma experience preferred.

**License:** Compact or State License required upon submission.

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH required.

**Must-Have:**
- PCU experience
- Dysrhythmia skills
- Experience with IV insulin protocols
- Feeding tube management
- Central line management
- Peripheral line management
- Managing cardiac drips

**Job Description:**

- No time off from 11/15 - 1/2 is allowed.
- Required to be on call with a response time of 1 hour.
- Floating between departments and affiliate hospitals is required.
- Working every other weekend is mandatory.
- Previous experience with Level 1 trauma is strongly preferred.
- Must be aware of job responsibilities and eligibility requirements for rehire.
- PACU team specific responsibilities during call hours:
- Weekday call: 8 PM - 6 AM
- Weekend call split into two shifts: 6 AM - 6 PM or 6 PM - 6 AM (Weekend call begins Saturday 6 AM and ends Monday 6 AM).
- Post-8 PM PACU procedures require remaining patients to be transferred to main PACU for completion of recovery.
- Anticipated call frequency is 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period.
- Modules average 6.5 hours and are to be completed during orientation and annually.

**Orientation:** 8 hours, non-billable
