Travel Nurse Rn - Pcu In Lexington, Ky

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 14 Weeks

**Shift:** Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 hours/week contracts available

**Experience:**
- 2 years recent ICU experience required
- 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU
- No first-time travelers

**License:** Compact or Kentucky State License required

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Required

**Must-Have:** Critical thinking skills and ability to work with patients that may need rapid response

**Job Description:**
- Will float to ICU or other PCU units.
- PCU, Med/Surg, Tele experience required.
- Requirement to orient to other transitional units.
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- RTO must be presented during submission.
- Submission requires references.
- Must have previously worked at the facility (eligibility for rehire is checked by HR).
- PACU Call Policy includes a response time of 1 hour.
- Weekend call hours divided into two shifts.
- Floating within hospital or affiliate hospitals as required.
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Modules are billable, average 6.5 hours, and completed during orientation and annually based on specialty.
