Travel Nurse Rn - Pcu In Lexington, Ky

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** PCU

**Job Duration:** 14 weeks

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 or 48 hours/week

**Experience:** 2 years of recent ICU experience required; 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience in high acuity PCU

**License:** Compact or KY State License required at time of submission

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Required

**Must-Have:**
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with patients that may require rapid response
- PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry experience
- COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine: Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

**Job Description:**
- Will float to ICU or other PCU units
- No first-time travelers
- Will orient to other transitional units
- Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
- Return staff policy: must have been gone for 90 days to return as a traveler
- Background and licensure checks are mandatory
- Previous employment must be disclosed for eligibility checks
- Requires response time for PACU call policy: 1 hour
- PACU call hours and frequency may include calls for 2-3 shifts per schedule period
- Modules are billable, average 6.5 hours, and completed during orientation and annually
- Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable)
