**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** 2+ years

**License:** Kentucky License

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH

**Must-Have:**
- 2 years of experience
- Cardiac GTTS
- Telemetry

**Job Description:**

- Provide high-quality nursing care to post-operative and cardiac patients.
- Work collaboratively in a friendly, team-oriented environment.
- Float between PCU and Med Surg units as required.
- Handle nocturnal BiPAP, High Flow equipment, wound vacs, chest tubes, and drains.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation.
- Maintain patient ratios of 3-5:1 in a 22-bed unit.
- Work every other weekend as part of the team schedule.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to the dress code, wearing galaxy blue tops and black or galaxy blue bottoms.
- Participate in an academic medical center environment with opportunities for professional growth.
- Provide comprehensive care in a facility known for innovative transplants and cutting-edge heart care.
