**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down

**Job Specialty:** Cardiac Mixed Acuity (Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

**Guaranteed Hours:**

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience

**License:** Registered Nurse License

**Certifications:**

**Must-Have:**

- Ability to read telemetry strips
- Skills in IV insertion, blood draws, and PICC/Central Line management
- Ability to titrate medication
- Experience with dialysis fistula assessments
- Proficiency in trach care, epidural/PCA pump management, and feeding tubes
- Capability to perform continuous bladder irrigation and manage wound vacs

**Job Description:**

- Work on a cardiac progressive care unit with 1:5 patient ratios.
- Collaborate with an Assistant Nurse Manager available for each unit.
- Be part of a facility with 48 beds, including a cath lab handling PCI and pacemaker procedures, as well as stress tests.
- Manage patients with common cardiac diagnoses and perform relevant procedures.
- Administer medications including Cardizem, heparin, and amiodarone.
- Wear galaxy blue scrubs (not provided).
- Utilize the EPIC charting system.
- Commitment to work on significant holidays may be required, depending on the start date and management's decision.

This position requires nurses who are adaptable, skilled in various cardiac care practices, and ready to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
