Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years

License: Kentucky RN License

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Must-Have:
- PCU and telemetry experience
- Cardiac medication administration
- Cerner EMR experience

Job Description:

- Work in an academic medical center providing advanced heart care and STEMI heart attack care.
- Participate in providing comprehensive care within a mixed-acuity general overflow unit.
- Handle a patient ratio of 5:1 in a 24-bed unit.
- Operate equipment such as Dynamaps, glucometers, IV and Sequential Compression Device (SCD) pumps, bladder scanners, cardiac monitoring, and Provizio Skin Evaluation Monitoring (SEM) scanner.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals and demonstrate flexibility and critical thinking.
- Adhere to the dress code policy of galaxy blue top with black or galaxy blue bottoms; white or gray undershirts may be worn.
- Comply with the requirement to work every third weekend.
- Float between PCU or Med-Surg units as needed.

Note: Applicants are expected to work two out of the three major holidays, if applicable.
