**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of PCU experience

**License:** KY License required

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH required

**Must-Have:** PCU experience

**Job Description:**

- No block scheduling or travel pairs permitted.
- All travelers must be prepared to work holidays and days surrounding them.
- Requests for time off can be up to 5 days, requiring prior approval.
- Candidates must work 2 out of the 3 major holidays during their assignment.
- Potential assignment duration can be between 13 and 18 weeks.
- The unit has 28 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 3-5:1.
- Equipment used includes PCA, chest tube, CVP, Levophed, telemetry, epidural, tracheostomy, and suctioning.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system utilized is Cerner.
- Candidates should be comfortable with transplant recovery patients and a mixed acuity unit.
- Experience in telemetry and peritoneal dialysis is beneficial.
- Effective teamwork and the ability to handle high-acuity patients is essential.
- Scrub color: Top Galaxy Blue; Pants Galaxy Blue or Black.
