**Experience:** 2+ years of Cardiac PCU experience

**License:** Kentucky RN License

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH

**Must-Have:** Cardiac experience in PCU or Pre/Post Cath Lab experience (not PACU), IV insertion, Telemetry/dysrhythmia/12-lead EKG

**Job Description:**

- Provide patient care in a 14-bed cardiac recovery unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1, including specialized teams such as TAVR, MitraClip, or Watchman.
- Use Phillips telemetry monitors, safeguard devices, FemStops, TR bands, TVP, and Cerner EMR.
- Demonstrate competency in sheath pull procedures and adhere to facility protocols for patient safety and care.
- Exhibit self-motivation and adaptability while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Display a willingness to learn new skills and maintain a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Participate in an academic medical center with advanced heart care treatment and comprehensive STEMI heart attack care.
- Work every other weekend and assist with floating responsibilities in Med Surg or PCU as needed.
- Adhere to dress code guidelines: galaxy blue tops with galaxy blue or black pants.
