**Job Description:**
- Work in an Intermediate Care Unit with 41-50 beds, providing care for patients with various diagnoses.
- Typical patient care includes management of conditions such as heart failure, dysrhythmias, uncontrolled hypertension, syncope, coronary angiography/PCI, device implants, and peripheral vascular interventions.
- Manage patients with respiratory distress, moderate- and high-flow oxygen requirements, COVID-19, sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis/hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state, alcohol/opioid withdrawal, gastrointestinal bleeding, electrolyte disturbances, and end-stage renal disease.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
- Wear royal blue scrubs per unit guidelines.
- Float support areas include contract-dependent units, primarily HVU or Mobile Unit.
- Assist with special procedures, including TR-band weaning, terminal weaning of oxygen, and bedside thoracentesis.
- Participate in a virtual interview process with an auto offer system.
