**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Step Down

**Guaranteed Hours:**

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry and Acute Care

**License:** RN

**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification

**Must-Have:** Ability to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within a 40-mile radius if needed

**Job Description:**

- Work every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
- Provide care for patients requiring intermediate or step-down care from Intensive Care Units
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, ensuring patients' stability and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Educate patients and their families regarding ongoing care and health management
- Adhere to established nursing protocols and procedures
- Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Provide a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families
