License: Must have RN license in hand or have begun the licensing process

Certifications: ACLS, BLS; OCN preferred

Must-Have:
- PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Accessing ports
- Blood product administration
- Peripheral line care/management
- Phlebotomy
- PICC line management
- Starting IVs
- Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals

Job Description:
- Work in an acuity adaptable unit with a focus on providing high-quality, compassionate care.
- Collaborate with a care team consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and unit support staff.
- Care for stable progressive care patients, patients with a diagnosis or history of cancer, patients requiring end-of-life care, including inpatient hospice, and those needing a medical level of care.
- Opportunity to become chemotherapy trained and gain certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN).
- Shift requirements are three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM with weekend coverage every other weekend.
- The role includes no call requirements.
- All travelers must be prepared to float as required.
- Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
