- Acute Care strong nursing skills and time management
- Preferred stepdown experience
- Strong critical thinking skills

**Job Description:**
- Work with a team to provide care on a unit with 30 beds, including 22 Acute Care and 8 Neuro stepdown beds.
- Manage patient ratios of 6:1 on Acute Care and 4:1 on Neuro Stepdown.
- Utilize equipment such as vital sign machines, high-flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, and various drips on the Acute Care side.
- Operate Vapotherm, BiPAP, Trachs, and titrate cardiac drips on the Neuro stepdown side.
- Document using the Meditech system.
- Engage in required weekend shifts and floating after orientation.
- Perform bedside shift reports and participate in daily huddles to enhance patient experience.
- Participate in procedures such as lumbar puncture and chest tube placement.
- Dress code includes black, any shade of blue or gray, and any color scrubs on Fridays.
