**Job Description:**

- Provide care in a 30-bed unit, including 22 Acute Care beds and 8 Stepdown beds.
- Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 in Acute Care and 4:1 in Neuro Stepdown.
- Utilize various medical equipment, including vital sign machines, high-flow oxygen systems, chest tubes, suction devices, and ventilators.
- Administer and titrate cardiac drips and manage patients with tracheostomy and Bipap.
- Document patient care using the Meditech system.
- Participate in weekends and float between units after orientation.
- Engage in bedside shift reports, personal connections, and daily huddles to enhance patient experience.
- Perform procedures such as lumbar puncture and chest tube placement.
- Adhere to dress code: black, blue, or grey scrubs, and any color scrubs on Fridays.
- Contribute to team goals and receive recognition through programs such as employee of the month and shout-out boards.
- This unit serves as an excellent starting point for nurses aiming to work in ICU.
