**Job Description:**
- Apply the principles of the nursing process and adhere to the policies and procedures of the Patient Care Services Department.
- Serve as the patient's primary nurse, managing nursing care to ensure competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care from admission to discharge.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients while performing disease prevention and restorative measures.
- Respond to medical and environmental emergencies effectively.
- Be flexible with floating to different units or campuses within the scope of practice, with potential 1.5-hour notice prior to shift start. Shuttle service provided if needed.
- Adhere to weekend requirements, working every other weekend.
- No on-call duties are required.
- Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours.

Candidates should be aware they must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing and comply with a 50-mile travel requirement for travel compliance. Submissions must include all required certifications and valid state license information. Candidates may need to provide background policy information. Travelers must have at least one year of separation to return in a travel role.
