**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of experience
**License:** Current RN License from the applicable state board, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
**Certifications:** Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
**Must-Have:** Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
**Job Description:**
- Provide nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, ensuring high-quality care.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders on assigned patients.
- Assist physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe physiological manifestations, and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed, and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver patient care competently and effectively.
- Interact with patients and families, sharing care plans during hospital stays and at discharge.
- Inform patients and families of hospital procedures to ensure understanding.
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Delegate tasks effectively to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.

- Basic computer skills.
**Preferred Education:**
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
