**Shift:** Nights, 3x12 Hr

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 per week

**Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience in Stepdown or Medsurg required

**License:** Current RN License from an accredited state board or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)

**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

**Must-Have:**
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Some computer skills

**Job Description:**

- Provides nursing care in a hospital to patients with health issues ranging from simple to complex.
- Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting changes in physician orders.
- Assists physicians in patient examinations and performs minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients and intervenes when necessary.
- Administers medication and manages intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Delivers competent patient care.
- Interacts with patients and families to discuss care plans during hospital stay and upon discharge.
- Informs patients and families of hospital procedures.
- Refers patient care needs to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Delegates tasks to support staff as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
