**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**License:** Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
**Certifications:**
- Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS required
**Must-Have:**
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
**Job Description:**
- Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians in the examination of patients and perform minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe physiological manifestations, and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medication as prescribed and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver patient care competently.
- Interact with family and patient to share care plans during hospital stay and at discharge.
- Inform patients and families of hospital procedures.
- Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Skills & Experience:**
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Some computer skills.
**Preferred Education:**
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
