**Job Description:**

- Work in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with 35 beds.
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5.
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions.
- Perform continuous EEG monitoring.
- Required to titrate drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications.
- Collaborate with a charge nurse on each shift; the charge nurse may have an assignment.
- Work with patient care techs with a ratio of 1:10 or 2:20.
- Shifts are scheduled from 0630-1900 and 1830-0700.
- Weekend shifts are required every third week with cyclic rotation.
- Holiday shifts are required every third holiday.
- No call or standby requirements.
- Potential to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed.
- Participate in 1-2 days of on-the-floor orientation following a week of onboarding.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system.
- Position does not require a BSN degree.
- Trauma Level 2 care setting.
