**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, NIH required

**Must-Have:** EPIC charting experience, 100% nicotine-free, First timers not accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center)

**Job Description:**
- Work in a 49-bed specialty medical/surgical unit focusing on cardiovascular care.
- Care for specialty patients, such as stable heart and lung transplant patients and those with Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs).
- Collaborate with the Cardiac Vascular Unit and Cardiac Progressive Care Unit teams.
- Manage patient ratios of 1:6 nights; potential 1:7 depending on staffing (rare occurrence).
- Float within the scope to meet facility needs, including potentially floating to affiliated locations.
- Participate in mandatory orientation and charting class.
- Adhere to the weekend requirement: work two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Friday/Saturday for night shift).
- Wear Steele gray scrubs with a specific brand logo, with options for branded T-shirts.

**Additional Information:**
- Compliance documents are due the Tuesday prior to the start by 4 PM CST.
- Be prepared to go into labs within 48-72 hours from accepting an offer.
