**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** 12-hour nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years
**License:** Must have active RN license
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:**
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry
- Experience with titrating drips

**Job Description:**
- Work in a Progressive Care Unit with a focus on adults, including patients from ER, mixed medical/surgical, cardiac, and stroke patients.
- Handle titratable and set-rate drips such as Heparin, Octreotide, insulin, and maintenance dosages of IV meds.
- Operate specialty equipment like code carts, LUCAS machines, hoyer lift, and sit-and-stand.
- Collaborate effectively with a team that includes a charge nurse and nurse aides/patient care techs.
- Participate in frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges in this high-flow unit.
- Adhere to a navy blue scrub color/dress code.
- Attend an orientation including classroom learning and practical shifts.
- Fulfill weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
- Float to Med/Surg and other hospital areas based on abilities, including ICU/ED.
- Open to positive nurses who are team players keen to overcome challenges together.

**Additional Notes:**
- Telemetry monitoring is required; RNs must be capable of direct interpretation.
- The unit has a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and a 1:14 nurse aide/patient care tech ratio.
- Nurses may be required to rotate weekends and holidays with permanent staff.
- Ideal candidates must be open to changes, adaptable, and willing to float as needed.
